Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at CancerCare Manitoba. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with malignant disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the teaching programs of CCMB and the U of M
  • Collaborate in an oncology-related clinical or basic research program
  • Provide high-quality care to patients with malignant disorders
Requirements
  • Certification in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is preferred
  • Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
About the Position

This is a University of Manitoba academic appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the teaching programs of CCMB and the U of M, and collaborate in an oncology-related clinical or basic research program.

The Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology and the Section of Hematology/Oncology consist of 43 faculty members based at three CCMB sites. We offer unique opportunities to develop new and innovative clinical and/or basic research directly or in collaboration with the CancerCare Manitoba Research Institute.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide high-quality care to patients with malignant disorders as part of a multidisciplinary team.
