About the Opportunity
LRO Staffing, a reputable general contracting company, is seeking a seasoned People and Culture Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a productive and empowering work environment that views challenges as opportunities.
The successful candidate will oversee the entire employee experience, from talent acquisition to employee development and engagement. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing strategies to attract and retain top talent, manage onboarding, and develop performance goals.
- Leading initiatives around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), employee coaching, and knowledge transfer programs.
- Building relationships with external partners to support recruitment efforts.
- Overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring alignment with company values and culture.
- Fostering employee engagement and addressing performance issues.
- Conducting employee surveys and town hall events to gather feedback and drive improvements.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of HR experience. A Master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including diversity and inclusion strategies.
- Developing performance goals and career progression plans.
- Leading DEI initiatives and training programs.
- Building a People and Culture plan within an organization.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and knowledge of HR best practices. Experience in the construction industry is an asset. HR certification is also an asset.
