Senior Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical investigations, designing geotechnical systems, and ensuring the safety of mining waste management and tailings facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead geotechnical investigations and design geotechnical systems for mining waste management and tailings facilities
  • Develop and implement geotechnical monitoring and surveillance programs
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure geotechnical systems meet safety and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential geotechnical hazards
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on mining waste management and tailings
  • Proven track record of leading geotechnical investigations and design projects
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical monitoring and surveillance principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
