Rotating Equipment Technician Job Description

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking a skilled Rotating Equipment Technician to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment, including compressors, engines, pumps, valves, coolers, panels, generator packages, and related machinery.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, including inspections and current condition reports.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Install and commission new equipment packages.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours calls as required.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and in accordance with company HSE policies.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Millwright/Industrial Mechanic Certificate (or enrolled in apprenticeship program).
  • Well-rounded knowledge of diesel and natural gas engines, gensets, centrifugal and PD pumps.
  • Experience with oil and gas operations is an asset.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude with experience around operating rotating equipment and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated safety mindset and ability to actively participate in all safety initiatives.
  • Capable of working in both a team and individual environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Certification in WHMIS, First Aid, TDG, H2S Alive, and other relevant courses.
