Rotating Equipment Technician

At Roska DBO Inc., we are seeking a skilled Rotating Equipment Technician to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment, including compressors, engines, pumps, and related machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Millwright/Industrial Mechanic Certificate (or enrolled in apprenticeship program)
  • Proven experience working with rotating equipment, including compressors, engines, pumps, and related machinery
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Certification in WHMIS, First Aid, TDG, H2S Alive, and other relevant courses
