Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team in Surrey, BC.
About the RoleThe Manufacturing Operations Specialist will be responsible for fabricating material for orders, dealing with raw materials & finished goods, and utilizing machinery to transport those goods around the facility.
- Work in a warehouse environment
- Work with raw materials
- Perform quality checks during each process
- Storing final products in proper locations
- Participate in good catch program for Safety
- Preparing materials for shipping
- Lifting of raw materials, finished goods, and other supplies
- Reporting any safety or quality concerns to their direct supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Required education and experience include a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience, experience with overhead cranes and forklifts, valid forklift certification, welding experience an added plus, and maintenance experience an added plus.
CompetenciesThis role requires strong communication skills, prioritizing safety, and being able to work independently and be self-motivated. Multitasking and prioritizing tasks are also essential for success in this position.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
This role requires the ability to lift 50-75 lbs. consistently, load materials onto machines, inspect parts on the project, and remove finished products.
