Job Title: Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Ross and Acker Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other healthcare professionals
  • Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage
  • Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing the right quantities of drugs and other ingredients
  • Maintain medication profiles of customers, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs
  • Manage the storage, packaging, and distribution of medicinal products
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and other staff
Requirements:
  • Certification for drug administration by injection and intranasal route
  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Criminal record check
  • Eligible for professional liability insurance
Work Environment:

Our pharmacy is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to provide excellent patient care. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have excellent attention to detail.
