Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our hospitality services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
