Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as operating rooms and other areas.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on facilities and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies.
  • Clean windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
