  • Participate in the design and delivery of complex bridge projects, including rail bridges and highways
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality project deliverables
  • Develop conceptual designs, detailed designs, and technical specifications
  • Estimate costs and schedules for projects
  • Prepare reports and contract documents for review agencies, clients, and the public
  • Maintain contact with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, and clients

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineering (P. Eng) license with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
  • 15+ years of experience in bridge engineering
  • Experience with alternative delivery methodology
  • Metrolinx and AREMA experience
  • CN Rail, CP Rail, and MTO experience are considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC) and Ontario design standards
