About this Opportunity

Cenovus Energy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Coordinator, Clearwater Maintenance. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage maintenance execution, ensure safe and efficient operations, and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead maintenance coordinators, trades, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to enhance maintenance execution efficiency and identify equipment failure causes.
  • Collaborate with operations and planning teams to manage workflows and prioritize work, including new and break-in projects.
  • Oversee asset health for large rotating equipment through oil sampling, vibration monitoring, and other analyses.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance by ensuring adherence to maintenance procedures and safe work practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure satisfactory team performance and manage vendor contracts.
Requirements
  • Possession of a Red Seal Journeyman certification is an asset.
  • A Business or Technical Diploma, or equivalent training, is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance execution role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity, either formal or informal.
  • Experience with project management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas equipment is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
