About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Higher Talent. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for performing on-site servicing and repair of fire systems, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams to identify issues and implement repairs
  • Perform on-site servicing and repair of fire systems, including pipefitting and sprinkler installation
  • Document work completed, including maintenance records and inspection reports
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to company protocols
  • Recommend products or services to customers to enhance their fire protection needs
Requirements
  • Equivalent experience in fire protection or related field, such as plumbing, electrical, or mechanical trades
  • Mine Safety Certificate and First Aid Certificate required
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for extended periods
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team
