We are a dynamic company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping strategic initiatives that facilitate our overall portfolio of payment solutions.

Estimated Salary Range:

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Job DescriptionProduct Owner - Card Payments
  • Act as Product Owner for all Card payment related projects, aligning with Scrum/Agile methodology principles.
  • Design and co-own card payment initiatives roadmaps, ensuring seamless communication across departments.
  • Prioritize backlog items, focusing on customer experience definition (UX/UI) and vision alignment.
  • Adaptability is crucial in this role, with continuous engagement and learning expected.
Responsibilities
  1. Vision and Product strategy alignment for Card payment technology, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  2. Customer experience definition (UX/UI), prioritization, and Road map management.
  3. Ownership of backlog items, Feature design and exploration: Lead the charge in identifying & prioritizing new product features backed by clear market research and data analysis.
  4. Cross Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between departments, fostering seamless communication and collaboration across all teams.
  5. Road Map commitments: Own and drive product road map related to Card payments, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
  6. Backlog management: Curate and prioritize our product backlog based on Business Unit needs and priorities to their clients.
  7. Stakeholder engagement: Effectively communicate product goals and updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
  8. Quality assurance: Stand in as the end user, during Quality Assurance efforts to ensure customer satisfaction for the card payment products embedded in our technology.
  9. Reporting: Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicator reports (daily/weekly) specific to all Card payments products (payments, gift/rewards and loyalty) across all brands.
Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of third-party payment processor functions and processes.
  • Comfortable working with ERP- Accounting software, Good knowledge of bank account reconciliation processes.
  • Some understanding of Loan servicing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree (Accounting) or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
  • Min of 5 years experience in the field of Bank and or card processing (gift, loyalty and rewards and payments).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good analytical & accounting abilities.
  • Knowledge of accounting (industry practices).
  • Good understanding of Microsoft suite of applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
