Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, including experience with project-based billings and multi-company environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting, including compiling monthly financial reports for management
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and ensure accurate financial records
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
  • Strong background in financial accounting, including experience with project-based billings and multi-company environments
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and experience with SAGE 50
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact with contractors and vendors
  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining
