Job Summary

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time math and science educator to join our team of experienced tutors and coaches. As a math and science educator, you will work directly with students in a one-on-one setting, providing personalized instruction and support to help them succeed in their math and science courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach math and science concepts to high school students in a one-on-one setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in math and science education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, or a related field
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of math and science concepts, particularly at the high school level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
