About the Role

The Unlicensed AME-S is a key member of our team, reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to provide guidance and support to our crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to the crew, ensuring seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Promote company values, vision, and mission, embodying the GAL AeroStaff spirit.
  • Demonstrate expertise and competency in aircraft sheet metal and structures, providing high-quality solutions to our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Carry out maintenance repairs on customer aircraft, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sign off on work sheets and work cards, verifying the quality and completeness of work accomplished.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team and the growth of our organization.

Requirements

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work well with others, building strong relationships and a positive team dynamic.
  • Completion of a Transport Canada-approved AME course is preferred, but not required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with a strong background in maintenance and repair.
