About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audio Design Lead to join our team at Electronic Arts and work on the Battlefield Franchise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Audio team to develop and implement a cohesive audio strategy for the game.
  • Design and create high-quality sound assets, including effects, ambient, Foley, and creature sounds.
  • Work closely with game designers to ensure that audio aligns with their vision and enhances the player's experience.
  • Develop and maintain audio schedules, ensuring timely delivery of assets.
  • Lead by example, mentoring and guiding junior sound designers to achieve excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a Senior/Lead Sound Designer role, with a proven track record of success in creating sound for major titles.
  • Shipped game(s) as a Senior Sound Designer, with a strong understanding of the game development process.
  • Previous experience in mentoring and leading audio teams, with a focus on excellence and innovation.
  • Significant experience in platform game audio, with a strong understanding of AAA game development.
  • Strong audio design and editing skills, with experience in implementing sound into game engines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
