About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Energy System Technician to join our team at Taylor Lumber Company Limited. This permanent, full-time position will see you working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for maintaining and operating energy systems, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair equipment, including compressors, generators, high-pressure boilers, and valves.
  • Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunctions to ensure plant systems are operating normally.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect any issues.
  • Operate automated or computerized control systems as required.
Requirements
  • College diploma in a related field (e.g., engineering technology).
  • Stationary Engineer 4th Class certification.
  • Valid CPR certificate, confined space entry training, first aid certificate, and WHMIS certification.
  • Previous experience with equipment and machinery, particularly those mentioned above.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
