We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing services to residents, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and provide leadership within the healthcare team.
- Facilitate coordination of resident care and discharge.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Current active practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.
- Canadian Nursing Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing an asset.
- Certificate in CPR.
- Experience in Gerontological Nursing.
- Ability to communicate in both official languages (French and English).
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal relationship skills.
- Demonstrates critical thinking/problem solving skills and decision-making skills.
This position is designated bilingual (French/English). All nurses are hired for the facility. Employees may hold more than one position in different Winnipeg Regional Health Authority facilities, where the sum total of hours does not exceed 1.0 full-time equivalence.
