Job Summary

CHANG XIN CONSTRUCTION is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, as well as removing rubble and debris from construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring they are properly secured and transported to the correct location.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Store Cargo and Materials: Store construction materials and cargo in a secure and organized manner, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Prepare and Maintain Equipment: Assist in preparing and maintaining construction equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Operate Machinery: Operate construction machinery, such as forklifts and cranes, under the supervision of a qualified operator.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions. You will be required to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment, as well as work at heights and in confined spaces.
