Position Overview

Active Pilates Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategic initiatives. This role requires a strong educational background and extensive experience in finance and accounting.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial role
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including material, human, and financial, to effectively implement company policies and programs.
  • Authorize and oversee the establishment of key departments and senior staff positions.
  • Coordinate activities across various regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Set strategic objectives for the organization and formulate or approve relevant policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives as necessary.
  • Select and empower middle managers and directors, ensuring optimal working conditions and authority delegation.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
Personal Attributes
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in financial reporting.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and is a collaborative team player.
Community Engagement
  • Actively participates in programs supporting newcomers and refugees.
  • Engages in initiatives that assist youth employment and mature workers.
