Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team at Ridge Meadows Recycling Society. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. You will also operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products, and provide customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Providing customer service
  • Wrapping goods
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods
  • Hazardous products handling and storage
  • Operating a forklift
  • Loading, moving, sorting, and piling materials and supplies
  • Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift or dolly
Requirements
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to work in a team environment
