Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Solutions Expert to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing storage solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement storage architectures based on capacity planning analysis
  • Manage storage frames and ensure adherence to SLA's regarding storage allocations, limitations, and availability
  • Implement clustering applications for various operating systems and ensure effective protection and integrity of data and stored data assets
  • Coordinate problems resolution and escalation process during implementations and deployments, if needed
  • Assist with strategies and policies for disaster recovery and archiving
  • Install and configure new and existing storage devices and allocate storage to end-users and development teams based on established departmental requirements and available disk space

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • College diploma or university degree in computer science or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of storage architecture design techniques, theories, principles, and practices
  • Technical experience in Microsoft, Unix and VMWare environments
  • Knowledge of Fibre Channel architectures and multiple SAN technologies, data migration and conversions towards new SANs
  • Excellent knowledge of SAN, NAS, RAID, SCSI, and Fibre Channel technologies
