About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our design and development team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with designing and developing electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of expertise with strong analytical and technical abilities, and will be able to manage multiple priorities and take initiative while delivering high-quality products and services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including control circuits, variable speed drives, and programmable logic controllers.
  • Review and create electrical engineering plans to ensure adherence to design specifications and compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
  • Select electronics equipment, components, or systems to meet functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design team for improvements to existing and new products, manufacturing lines, and automation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in General, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
  • Knowledge/understanding and demonstrable application of manufacturing processes, robotics, mechatronics, and automation.
  • Technical writing of manufacturing documents (PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan, Work Instructions, and Checklists).
  • Strong knowledge/understanding of small engine components (mechanical and electrical).
  • Software experience (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
