Math Teacher/Tutor Wanted

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time math teacher/tutor to join our team. As a math teacher/tutor, you will work directly with students to help them develop their math skills and build their confidence in mathematics.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach math to students at different levels
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 3-12 math curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus, and vectors.
