About the Role

CYANVIS INC is seeking a highly skilled Structural Metal and Platework Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the fabrication of metal structures and platework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Planning: Determine the materials required for each project, ensuring accurate estimates and efficient use of resources.
  • Engineering Interpretation: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan methods and sequences of operation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Layout and Fabrication: Lay out reference points and patterns, plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal efficiently, and assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate electronic controls and other equipment to ensure efficient and safe fabrication processes.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test fabricated components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Project Management: Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in metal fabrication, with a strong background in structural metal and platework fabrication.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
