About the Role

CYANVIS INC is seeking a highly skilled Structural Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the fabrication of metal structures and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Planning: Determine the required materials for each project, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Engineering Interpretation: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to plan methods and sequences of operation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Layout and Fabrication: Lay out reference points and patterns, plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal efficiently, and assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment and machinery, including electronic controls, to fabricate metal components.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test fabricated components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects, manage work materials and supplies, and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in metal fabrication
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
