Your Next Challenge

You will be reporting to the Process Plant Planning General Supervisor and will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. As a key member of this team, you will be accountable for coordinating the Process Plant shutdowns while ensuring activities are planned, provisioned, and ready for execution to increase overall operating availability.

  • Plan resources, materials, and detailed individual work scopes, required for scheduled maintenance activities;
  • Develop shutdown procedures, inclusive of guidelines from initial work identification through to the hand over back to operations;
  • Coordinate activities of cross-functional groups involved in major shutdowns;
  • Assist in the preparation of maintenance cost forecasts, budgets, and monthly maintenance reports;
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management on the performance and progress of major shutdowns;
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure cost efficiency of all aspects of the shutdowns;
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental issues are reinforced as the highest priority during maintenance activities;
What You Need To Succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical trade qualification in a maintenance or engineering field;
  • 10 years' experience in a Maintenance/Process department;
  • 5 years' experience in planning shutdowns;
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning practices and an understanding of maintenance schedule process;
  • Working knowledge of SAP;
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint;
