As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Prospecting: Develop a robust network of external contacts to consistently uncover new business development opportunities.
- Closing: Prioritize customer needs by engaging in a consultative selling approach to build strong, lasting relationships.
- Account Management: Foster long-term client relationships to ensure sustained business growth.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Transportation, Distribution, and/or Logistics Sales and/or Operations.
- Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong strategic thinking and negotiation abilities.
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma (preferred).
- Travel: Approximately 25% travel within Canada and the U.S., with the remaining 75% office-based.
- Work Environment: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, able to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure.
