Role Description and Expectations

The Associate Creative Director, Art, plays a pivotal role in overseeing the art team from concept to completion, ensuring consistency in content quality and style that meets client marketing objectives. As a strategic leader, they must possess advanced knowledge of Klick Health's procedures, including routing, print production, protocols, and stock image usage rights.

  • Develops and executes sound strategic planning, timely implementation, excellent service, financial control, and strong client relationships.
  • Has a deep understanding of the client's marketplace and can evaluate work based on current marketing trends and environment.
  • Takes abstract concepts and empowers project teams to create cutting-edge designs that are user-friendly, representative of client goals, and within brand guidelines.
  • Maintains innovative ideas that challenge the status quo, aligning with the client's marketing strategy.
  • Anticipates and solves creative problems, providing effective recommendations to Creative Directors.
  • Leads creative teams in executing ideas to a high standard of creative excellence.
  • Provides feedback on creative approaches to communicate client messages effectively.
  • Helps set priorities and manages workloads to meet agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Responsible for growing existing brands and participating in new business opportunities to generate revenue.
  • Supervises and participates in all concept work for brands and new business pitches.
  • Fosters a diverse and inclusive environment on the team.
  • Manages and mentors direct reports on multiple brands; develops goals and conducts performance reviews, 1:1s, and provides coaching, support for career plans, and learning opportunities.
  • Demonstrates a full understanding of how budgets and schedules apply to financial management.
  • Advances knowledge and craft expertise in copy, developing into a well-rounded creative.
  • Develops cross-discipline learning from colleagues and vendors to ensure high-quality products within specified deadlines.
  • Achieves a complete understanding of market trends, marketing briefs, assigned accounts, treatment categories, clinical developments, and relevant physician specialties.
  • Has computer proficiency and solid knowledge of design programs.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing/advertising business experience preferred.
