About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Bang On Carpentry & Labour Hire Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for construction and repair projects
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment with varying work sites, including residential, commercial, and renovation projects. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles

  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and a team player
