Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Assistant with Northern Health Authority, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and recreation therapists to provide high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with rehabilitative treatment plans and programs under the supervision of a licensed therapist
  • Monitoring patients' progression and reporting any changes or concerns to the responsible therapist
  • Supporting the operational and technical functions of the department, service, or program

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • A valid driver's license (if required)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
