**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Scale logs to calculate volume, dimensions, and grades
- Operate weigh scales, scale logs and record data as per Ministry standards
- Ensure proper stratification of loads to Ministry and company standards
- Ensure accuracy of data entered
- Maintain and clean scale sites and infrastructure
- Ensure company policies, core values and culture are being consistently upheld
- Perform additional duties as assigned

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**

As a member of the BC Eco team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

- Weighmaster Certification or BC Interior Metric Scaling Licence
- Ability to operate a hydraulic log loader for unloading & sample spreading would be an asset.
- Proven experience with scale systems, record keeping and log quality identification preferred
- Knowledge with Harvest Billing System (HBS)
- Aptitude for numbers and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Physically fit and able to walk uneven ground and site locations
- Motivated self-starter with positive attitude and proven safety record
