Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at CMC Mechanical Ltd. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining thermal insulation in various settings, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation required for the job
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
  • Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
  • Estimate costs and materials for insulation projects
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in insulation installation and maintenance
  • Basic security clearance
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools
Working Conditions

The Insulation Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, commercial and residential buildings, and potentially in cold or refrigerated environments.
