Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Haulage North America Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Review and evaluate existing administrative procedures to identify areas for improvement
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities, including data entry and report preparation
  • Administer policies and procedures related to record release and government access to information legislation
  • Coordinate and plan office services, including accommodation, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist in budget preparation and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Train staff on new procedures and systems
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working Conditions
  • 5-10 people supervised
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Temporary work term
  • English language required
