Senior Security DevOps Engineer

Are you passionate about designing and implementing secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure and applications? Loblaw Technology is seeking a Senior Security DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Network and Security Engineering POD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security controls to protect against security threats, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation on security procedures, standards, and guidelines, ensuring that security best practices and standards are implemented and maintained across the Cloud Security Engineering POD.
- Collaborate with data solution teams to develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to automate the provisioning, deployment, and configuration of Snowflake infrastructure resources.
- Implement and maintain security best practices and standards across the Cloud Security Engineering POD, ensuring the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data and systems.
- Automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce human error, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site Security DevOps Space, with a strong background in cloud security and a desire to work with a talented team of innovators.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as OCI, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, principles, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, access control, network security, and cloud security.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems, with a strong understanding of IT architecture, scripting, and IaC tools.
