Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure and applications to support security controls across the enterprise. As a key member of our team, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into the development and deployment process and that security controls are implemented and maintained throughout the application lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security controls to protect against security threats
  • Develop and maintain documentation on security procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce human error
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and standards across the Cloud Security Engineering POD
  • Collaborate with data solution teams to develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to automate the provisioning, deployment, and configuration of Snowflake infrastructure resources

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in site Security DevOps Space
  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as OCI, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, principles, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, access control, network security, and cloud security
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with CI/CD and IT automation tools and practices (e.g. Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline/CodeCommit/CodeDeploy, Artifactory, etc.)
  • In-depth conceptual knowledge and practical hands-on expertise in IT architecture (Cloud-based, serverless, and microservice-based architecture, etc.), cloud infrastructure and technologies, scripting, and IaC tools (JSON, YAML, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Certified - Professional DevOps Engineer preferred Professional, or Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification preferred
