About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, promoting a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.
  • Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or upgrades to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used to ensure a thorough documentation process.
Requirements
  • Valid certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
