Job Summary:

A Heavy-Duty Equipment Maintenance Specialist is required to join our team at Toromont Cat. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy-duty equipment fleet. Your attention to detail, strong technical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Perform other routine maintenance

Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
