Tolko Industries is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at our head office in Vernon, British Columbia. As a key member of our corporate services group, you will be responsible for providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct account analysis and review of all assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations and journal entries, including consolidation entries.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decisions.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to leadership and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Certified Professional Accounting (CPA) designation with 5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as JDE and Dynamics AX, is an asset.
