Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled E-commerce Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic team at CC Canada inc. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary of $25 per hour and flexible scheduling with no more than 20 hours per week. You will work on call every weekend, utilizing your exceptional communication skills to respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in an e-commerce environment, with strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engagement. Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, and excellent research skills to stay updated on industry trends and audience behavior are essential. A passion for social media trends, digital marketing, and brand storytelling is also required.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing goals to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content across various platforms including Tiktok and Instagram.
- Conduct thorough research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive analysis to inform content creation.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in an e-commerce environment (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engagement.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (experience with graphic design is a plus).
- Excellent research skills to stay updated on industry trends and audience behavior.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for social media trends, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.
