Mehgan Search and Rescue (MSAR) is seeking a skilled Animal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for handling and caring for domestic animals in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Animal Handling: Assist in the care and handling of animals, including dogs of all breeds.
- Exercise and Training: Assist in regular exercise, such as walking, and provide training to animals as needed.
- Screening and Security: Conduct criminal record checks and vulnerable sector checks, and ensure valid passports are in place.
- Experience and Education: A minimum of 1 year of experience in animal care, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
As an Animal Care Specialist with MSAR, you will work in a rural area, assisting in search and rescue operations and providing canine services. You will be required to work 35-50 hours per week, with a valid passport and ability to work in Canada.
