We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Plessis Veterinary Hospital.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to our patients, including diagnosing diseases, treating injuries, and advising clients on animal care and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
  • Prescribe medication and perform surgery as needed
  • Advise clients on animal care, nutrition, and behavior
  • Perform routine and emergency examinations and provide post-mortem care
  • Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia
Requirements
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 1-2 years of experience in veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and other healthcare professionals
