Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Lisa Fiorino. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients receive the sustenance they need to maintain their health and well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Requirements:
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

Our clients live in a non-smoking environment, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. Staff accommodation is also available.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, and we require a high level of proficiency in this language.Work Hours:

40 hours per week, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.

Weight Handling:

Between 45-60 kg (100-132 lbs) is required for this role.
