Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

A-1 Drainage Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in plumbing or a related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential settings. The work environment will involve confined spaces, wet/damp conditions, and physically demanding tasks.
