Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Plumbing Specialist to work on a variety of plumbing projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in plumbing
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgement and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and in wet/damp environments
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential settings.
