About the Role

Punjab Tax Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Taxation: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
  • Accounting Software: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, to manage financial transactions and prepare financial statements.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or taxation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure.
