We are currently seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing production duties in the Chemical Sterilization areas (clean rooms) in accordance with good manufacturing practice and established standard operating procedures.

About the Role

This position requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for chemically sterilizing and aseptically transferring bioprosthetic heart valves according to prescribed procedures and techniques.

  • Chemical sterilization and transfer of bioprosthetic heart valves.
  • Assembly and disassembly of process equipment used for the sterilization of bioprosthetic heart valves.
  • Cleaning and sterilization of glassware, instruments, carboys, and other equipment.

You will also be responsible for maintaining traceability and proper documentation on all materials and components processed in the area.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, plus benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending account, life and disability insurance, retirement and RRSP matching, on-site gym, and on-site parking space.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical diploma or degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with limited supervision.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with shift times between 1:00 PM and 9:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and changes to shift schedule as needed.
