Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Civil Engineer to join our team at QSP Geographics Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical analyses, developing construction specifications, and ensuring construction plans meet guidelines and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, or other information and prepare reports.
  2. Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements and conduct research.
  3. Develop construction specifications and procedures to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  4. Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials.
  5. Interpret, review, and approve survey and civil design work.
  6. Provide customer service and supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers.
  7. Review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
  8. Offer mentoring and leadership to team members.
Certifications and Licenses

Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association is required.
