Our team, Model Risk Management (MRM), ensures model risk management for SG America regions. We oversee the governance of model risk and conduct independent reviews of relevant models.

Main Responsibilities
  • We design and maintain the model risk management system, ensuring consistency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory provisions.
  • We manage the model approval process within our scope.
  • We monitor the performance and effectiveness of our framework.
About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will participate in the development and maintenance of the continuous model monitoring (CMM) framework. As a Quantitative Advisor, you will collaborate with Senior Quantitative Advisors and the team Manager to:

  • Conduct independent model review by assessing model conceptual soundness, working with large datasets, replicating model architecture, and analyzing model output.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in a quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in model development, validation, or a front-office quant role; fewer years accepted with a PhD.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, or similar.
  • Experience working with large datasets and quantitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with model risk management practices.
